2016 Great Rivers Forum to kick off in Wuhan

2016 Great Rivers Forum is to kick off in Yangtze Civilization Museum in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province, on September 20, 2016.

 Themed with “Evolution and Sustainable Development of Great River Civilizations”, the 2-day event attracts around 120 guests from 19 countries, including China, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, India, France, Britain, etc.

A series of activities such as opening ceremony, keynote forum, parallel sessions, etc. will be held.

Wuhan is a megacity along the middle reaches of Yangtze River, a cradle of Chinese Civilization. Yangtze Civilization Museum, as the only thematic museum that collects and demonstrates Yangtze Civilization was constructed and opened to the public on September 25, 2015.
